Job Description :

Provide courteous, friendly, helpful and efficient service to external and internal customers on a regular and consistent basis.


Receive customer telephone requests for elevator and/or escalator service 

Gather complete and accurate customer, building and equipment information 

Enter customer data and all relative information utilizing SAP dispatching application

Schedule and/or page Elevator/escalator technicians

Receive field technicians responses to pages; communicate details of customers' request for service; obtain estimated time of arrival (ETA) at site information


Call customers requesting service: convey field technicians' ETA at designated site for servicing 

Fully participate, cooperate and support a team effort in processing external and internal customers' calls for service 

Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Required Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED 

Experience : 6 months or more, of customer service responsibilities in a Call Center environment and/or face customer service responsibilities 

A general knowledge and application of data entry, general typing or PC activities 

A consistent ability to practice proper telephone etiquette when dealing with all types of customers 

Critical Skills/Expertise Requirement : Expected to be skilled at providing excellent customer service and with appropriate etiquette in communications

Scope,Purpose and Frequency of Contacts : Receives a high level of contacts with external and internal customers on a frequent and regular basis; the purpose of which is to manage and facilitate requests for elevator/escalator service and all relative and subsequent actions 

Direction Of Others : May direct a minimal number of positions on a regular or daily basis

Direction Received : Expected to receive a moderate level of direction on an infrequent basis 

Judgment, Authority and Decision Making : Expected to dispense low levels of minor and infrequent judgments relative to job responsibilities; more complicated situations requiring decisions are deferred to management 

Working Conditions : Expected to be sitting at PC work station, typing and talking on a telephone headset for extended periods of time.
