Job Description :

Run target level production with ability to control production result, (e.g. scrap, dimensional tolerance, etc.)  Understand and perform all activities associated with setting up and operating line by performing the following duties


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Organize work in accordance with customer orders as directed by supervisor and production control.  Be sure to run the proper quantities and maintain first-in / first-out.


Maintain productivity & quality standards, including: the ability to set up, perform tool changes, and make necessary adjustments.


Perform necessary quality checks using various measurement equipment, including visual inspection as required.


Handle parts appropriately with an understanding of complete manufacturing process, including in-process storage and first-in / first-out


Changeover and troubleshooting of minor mechanical problems as required.


Must properly complete operator check sheets.


Completes the graph boards daily.


Must maintain 5S in work area and support department activities.


Must learn and understand the Toyota Production System (TPS) and Kanban System.


Provide input for inspection methods and improvements related to the job


Assist production, quality, and engineering departments in investigations of part or process related quality issues


Must work overtime as required.

Required Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS  Must possess good mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills.  Must possess good judgement, and communications skills.  Ability to read and understand blueprints.  Ability to maintain high quality standards.   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.



Ability to solve practical problems.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
