Job Description :
HIRING IMMEDIATELY for Inspectors of Automotive parts in Defiance Ohio.  

Must be able to stand for 10.5-hour shift

Must have a good eye and pay attention to detail.

JOB SUMMARY:


Basic statement outlining the purpose of the job responsibility.


 


Operate CMM, report findings, and aid in problem-solving.  Assure all parts are inspected per the control plan.


 




JOB DUTIES & GOALS:


Numbered listing of significant duties, tasks, responsibilities and goals identifying the “what”, “why” and “how” of the job.  Specify quantitative or qualitative “standard of performance” (goals) for each.  List at least six separate items.


 


1.             Mount parts on CMM & operate machine & remove parts upon completion.


2.             Analyze the CMM report.


3.             I.D. & record out –of-tolerance conditions on PSB.


4.             Tag all defective parts with CBS Defective Status Tags.


5.             Notify production supervisor to obtain signature.


6.             Clean CMM machine as scheduled.


7.             Maintain housekeeping.


8.             Work safely.


9.             Follow all company rules.


10.          Keep manager informed of problems.


11.          Perform all misc. duties as assigned.


12.          Assure required CMM checks are performed.


13.          Assist in process improvements.


 


 


 


 


INTERACTION:


Describe the relationship and degree of contact with internal and external individuals or groups.


 


High contact with Department Manager & Production Supervisors.
