Job Description :
This is a direct hire position.
Employee will be working directly with the General Manager of the shop. As a Supervisor Trainee this employee will learn the day to day operations of the shop and will be called upon to manage production when the General Manager is out of the shop or unavailable. Preventative maintenance of equipment and the facility. The employees this person would supervise will be doing such things as:
Learning to run presses and removing finished molded packaging material. Finished product will vary in size up to 3' by 3' and is usually very light.
Inspect finished product for defects/short fills (missing material).
Building cardboard shipping containers during the press cycle.
Stack finished product in built shipping container.
Light warehouse work including moving and loading pallets of finished material.
Other general clean up and maintenance as assigned.

Required Qualifications :
Employee must have a strong work ethic and willing to learn all aspects of the operation.
Knowledge of air, steam, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and vacuum systems is helpful.
Employee must be detail oriented and able to use hand tools such as a tape gun or stapler.
Basic math skills required for production counts.
Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb 3 to 4 steps up to a molding platform, and bend/twist during while packaging material and loading trucks.
Employee must be flexible as daily job assignments will change.
Work area is not climate controlled.
Clean pants with no holes and a clean plain T-shirt are required. Work boots not required, clean tennis shoes OK. Eye, hearing protection is not required.
